The Reverse Osmosis System is the filtration of dissolved solids (small suspended particles) from water using a permeable membrane. This is measured as TDS or totally dissolved solids. Raw water (softened) is delivered to the system and pressurized to the membranes so as to squeeze (remove/reject) the dissolved solids from the raw water as concentrate (reject water) and bypass the remaining water permeate (now referred to as purified water) to storage for repressurizing as rinse water for your final rinse application. This by-product is commonly referred to as Spot Free Rinse. Reverse Osmosis System are sized by gallons per day based on water temperature and the TDS of your supply water. Specialty Equipment Company offers a wide variety of RO Systems designed for just making RO water to complete repressurizing and distributing it to a car wash application. We also offer systems completely adaptable and integratable into one of our car wash packages. |
